Brandy butter
Serve this butter with christmas pudding for a Traditonal Christmas lunch.
ingredients
250g unsalted butter, softened 250g soft dark brown sugar 150ml brandy
method Beat the butter and sugar until pale. Gradually add the brandy, a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Cover the butter and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve. It is important for this to be very cold so that it provides a contrast to the hot pudding.
