Finalists Jenny Bilbe and her 21-year-old daughter Yasmin are from Cherrybrook, NSW. They drew the master bedroom and ensuite. Jenny was very sure about what she wanted, an opulent and regal bedroom that looked luxurious and inviting.
She based the room around a gold damask quilt cover and pillow cases and painted a gold feature wall behind the bed. The feature wall was painted in Dulux Hot Ginger, a deep pumpkin (Chip number 230) then dry brushed with Dreamy Gold pearl over the top. The remaining walls were painted in Dulux Red Cross, a rich deep red (Chip number 4).
Jenny included dark timber furniture and gold satin curtains to complete the look. The result was a plush gold room that had lots of draped satin and glitz.
