The 70's style kitchen of Tony and Pauline Hunt is certainly in need of an update. The current colour scheme of brown, white and mushroom as well as the outdated appliances will be given a light, bright transformation with a visit to the cabinet makers workshop to see how it's all put together.
The new look of the Hunt's kitchen will include Tesrol textured doors for the cupboards in antique white, Formex bench tops in cosmic light grey with a pearl finish, Tasmanian oak kickboards and Dulux White Leather walls. A new dishwasher, stove and fridge will be brought in with the cream floor tiles the only feature remaining.
Formex laminates can be used in your kitchen, bathroom or on furniture. They come in over 170 colours, patterns and woodgrains and a range of finishes; Pearl, Velvet, Gloss and Matt. Formex also produces Coloured board, a melamine-faced MDF or particleboard panel, suitable for cabinets, kitchens, bathrooms and furniture. They are ready to cut for quick and easy application and come in over 60 colours in a variety of finishes.
The cupboard doors are Tesrol, made to measure for the individual and vacuum-formed with a variety of colours and designs available. The bench tops have a Tasmanian oak front edge strip to match the kickboards. The existing layout of the kitchen was maintained and specialised equipment was on hand which made the overall job easier.
