| Here's a cheap alternative to a terracotta tiled floor. |

Mask off the skirting boards and then paint the entire surface in Panhandle Grey. This is the base coat. Allow to dry.
To make up a basic stamp, attach one of the foam squares to a piece of cardboard using adhesive spray. We used a 30cm x 30cm square.
On the 60cm x 60cm piece of cardboard, pour small amounts of the other three colours: Terracotta, Red Rock and Sunset Gold. Then add small amounts of the Pave and Deck Grip. This will provide a durable, non-slip surface.
Put on a pair of gloves and mix with your hand. You don't have to mix thoroughly as the blend gives the tiled effect.
Draw a straight pencil line through the middle of the room. This line will provide a guide when applying the first row of tile prints.
Stamp the foam piece into the mixed paint and remove excess on the other large piece of cardboard. Then stamp the first square on the floor. Ensure that all parts of the foam are pressed firmly for an even finish.
Lift the stamp and stamp a second tile about 1.5cm from the previous one. This gap will look like grout lines. (It doesn't matter if the "grout" lines are uneven as this makes the tiles look more realistic.)
Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the area is completed. Cut the other piece of foam into special shapes to get around walls and awkward edges.
Terracotta is only one of the looks available. You can have special tints made up for a brighter colour scheme.
