 |
1. Cut pieces to size as per cutting list. 2. To make the cross sections of the dividing pieces you need to cut a slot 12mm wide and half way down the piece. Cut the opposite half on the joining piece, (see diagram). Use a small amount of PVA and slide them together. 3. Nail and glue the sides to the ends then attach the bottom. 4. Push centre-dividing section in place. 5. Using a hole saw cut out the buttons. Be sure to firmly clamp down the workpiece. 6. Glue and screw buttons to lids. 7. Cut some off cuts and attach them to the underside of the lids, these will help locate the position of the lid. 8. Fill nail and screw holes and apply paint finish.

Cutting List Two sides: 1100mm x 300mm One bottom: 1100mm x 450mm Two ends: 426mm x 300mm One centre divider: 1076mm x 300mm Four dividers: 426mm x 300mm Five lids: 2 @ 450mm x 222mm and 3 @ 450mm x 215mm
Use the offcuts to make 30 circles to form the buttons on the blocks
