| Doll's cot |

1 Mark a half way point along the bottom edge on one of the13mm sheets of MDF. Nail a scrap piece of timber (450mm long) to the centre point. This will allow you to draw an arc. Cut with a jigsaw.
2 Cut an arc on the second piece of MDF using the first as a template.
3 Drill five evenly spaced holes approximately 10mm deep into each of the pine rails. Use a dowel jig if you have one.
4 Cut 10 pieces of the 9.5mm dowel at 180mm long. Put glue in each of the holes on the bottom rails and insert the dowels. Then put more glue on the ends of the dowel and tap on the top of the rails.
5 Screw assembled sides onto the bedhead of the cot, 20mm in from the side and 75mm up from the bottom. Screw on the opposite end. Cut the sheet of 3mm ply or MDF for the base and nail into the bottom rails.
6 Paint as desired.
