In their case it's usually the garage or car space that has to handle the over flow. Well, there's a new product on the market called The Box Thing, and it makes the most of that unused space in the garage or car park over the car bonnet. And once all your bits and pieces are securely locked away, there's still plenty of room for parking.
It's been designed to take up minimal floor space. First a metal frame is put into place and a few adjustments made so that it's level. Then the box is placed on top. Easy to assemble and take apart when you move, it takes only ten minutes to install.
Its volume is two and a half cubic metres and it holds up to 500kg so The Box Thing can be used to store almost anything. The height can also be adjusted to fit different shaped cars with clearance up to 1.5 metres. Including delivery and installation it's priced at around $1700.
The advantage this has over the cages that are often used, is that it's dust, moisture and vermine proof and made of recycled plastic. It's also more secure with a three way locking gas lift door. |
