The Seashell awning, an Australian innovation, is now available with some unique features including a magnetic and automatically retracting system. Made from high quality waterproof sail material, the awning replaces the need for unsightly poles and supports as used in pergolas and patios.
Ranging in price from $5000 for a 3m radius at 90 degrees, to $10900 for a 5m radius at 180 degrees, the Seashell awning has been available for the past three years. Its features include:
* Versatile and perfect for a small or large deck, patio, pool or garden area of up to 48 square metres.
* It shades, protects and gives privacy to difficult corner locations and unusual spaces. In fact, it can be constructed back to back to give full circle cover
* It's easily opened by one person on a cord pull system and fully retractable the same way when you want to enjoy the sun
* In the middle of the awning there's earth magnets so when the pressure is too strong from wind or rain it automatically retracts (tensioned to a wind velocity of 30 to 35 knots)
* Uses a magnetised system for self clamping when open
* Robust design using marine grade powder coated aluminium frames (available in the Dulux colour range) and premium quality all-weather sail material
* Comes in a choice of 30 colours
* 3,4 and 5 metre radius versions covering areas from 16 to 48 square metres
