This new product comes in two forms, either as a concentrate, which you will need to mix with equal quantities of water in a standard garden sprayer, or in a one-litre ready-to-use spray bottle. It is advisable to wear protective clothing and gloves when using this product.

Before spraying, make sure the surface you'll be working on is dry. As the name of the product suggests, leave it on for 30 seconds after spraying. To treat stubborn stains, you may need to leave it on for a bit longer. Then just spray it off with a garden hose.

30 Seconds also can be used on almost any outdoor surface, including wood, concrete, metal, tile, painted surfaces and plastic. Unlike normal bleaching chemicals, 30 Seconds not only cleans the area but, the manufacturers say, also kills the spores that cause regrowth of algae.

The manufacturers also say that 30 Seconds is non-toxic, biodegradable, non-corrosive and non-staining on concrete. However, it is advisable not to wash it down the drain. Instead, wash it into the garden or lawn and water the affected area liberally.
