Expert Software has created a draw-your-own program that allows the user to simply draw lines on a grid that are then transformed into an onscreen 3D representation of your dream home. This program is perfect for someone who wants to see how the final renovations will look or who wants to look at the possibilities of extending their home.

The screen is split into two halves. On the left side is the grid pattern, where you can use the mouse to draw the floorplan; the other half is where the 3D graphic of what you're drawing comes to life.

The program allows you to adjust the size of the grid to different scales and load the dimensions of your own block to work from. You can also pick from 69 layout examples to have a look at other designs or to incorporate them into your own plan.

When windows or doors are required, just click on the one you like and then click again where you would like it to go. It's that simple. Furniture and other household items can also be selected from a huge range, then added on screen.

Once the furniture is placed in the house, you can change the angle. Finishes on the interior and exterior walls, from ordinary paint to slate, brick and marble, can also be added. Flooring and roofing can also be selected from a range of materials and clicked onto the screen, so that you have a complete home.
