No Rot is a product that treats and controls rot and insect damage in timber. As a wood preservative, it will lengthen the life of timber fences, decks, pergolas, etc.
Timber is often subject to frequent rot and insect attack, especially if exposed to long periods of damp or high humidity and if partially buried underground.
Preschem No Rot is a solid, slow release wood preservative stick. You apply it to your timber fences by simply drilling a 9mm hole near the base level, and insert the stick. The hole is then sealed with a wooden dowel plug, which is supplied. Two sticks are normally applied to each post to be treated.
No Rot has been tested extensively by the CSIRO and their studies have proved that the stick controls a range of rot fungi and white ants in timber. Government authorities such as the SEC, Railways, Board of Works and the RTA have successfully treated their timber with No Rot sticks.
The product starts to work whenever there is moisture present in timber. When activated, it kills any fungi or insects present and protects the timber for up to 10 years. The active ingredients in the No Rot stick are boron and fluoride. Contact with the skin and eyes should be avoided.

A 60g pack costs $6.30 plus $2.00 postage and handling. One pack will supply you with enough No Rot to treat 10 posts (contains 20 sticks and plugs).
