This DIY Feng Shui kit contains some essential tools to improve the "feng shui", or life energy, of your house.
The crystal: this is one of the most powerful tools in feng shui. The crystal activates life energy "chi" by drawing in and reflecting sunlight around the room. This enhances family harmony. Hang the crystal in the top half of the window where the sun shines on it, especially in an area of your bagua map (see book included in the kit) which needs energising.
The Bagua Mirror: This symbolises protection and works by deflecting bad energy to ensure it does not enter the home. The mirror protects the home and all people living within the house. Place the mirror on your front door, above head height. This is not to be placed inside the house.
Windchimes: these are both beautiful to look at and to listen to. They are effective in bringing happy chi into the home. Place near the front entrance to your home, inside a hallway or room.
Incense: incense cleans and purifies the air of a room of stale and negative energy. Light the end of the incense, place in a cup or incense holder and leave it to burn in areas of your home that need revitalising.
Three Wealth Coins: these symbolise prosperity and wealth. The ribbon chosen is red because of its symbolic colour for wealth. Place in the top left hand side of the room containing your money or wealth.
Calligraphy: the Chinese characters chosen mean "double happiness". This symbol is known to enrich your life for love and fulfillment. Place in the top right hand corner of your room.
Pearl: this is used as part of a feng shui ritual to bring the right romance into your life. Run a bath, make a wish and throw the pearl into the running water. After the bath, empty the pearl along with the bath water.
The Bell: the bell creates fresh, clean energy flow "chi". Sound is considered a powerful tool in feng shui as it symbolises the fresh new spirit entering the room. Ring the bell in each room as often as you choose to do so.
