| 3D Frame |
| You wouldn't believe what a fantastic guest book you can make from a simple photo frame. |

Start by removing the backing and the glass from the frame. Then give the entire frame a couple of coats of black paint.
Work out your decorative design (for the front of your book) on a piece of paper.
Trace around the frame and draw in your desired pattern. Cut around the shape with a craft or Stanley knife and scissors.
Transfer your design to cardboard, cut it out and then stick it onto the frame, pressing down firmly and evenly to ensure it sticks.
Paint the design as you wish. We chose a simple but effective band of three colours. Touch up the outer cut edges with black paint to match the frame sides. Let this dry for about 10 minutes.
To dress up the frame, add some metal corners. To do this, all you need is an aluminium can. It is a good idea to wear gloves when cutting aluminium. Cut the pieces for the corners to shape and glue them onto the corners of the frame.
Glue some glass florist pebbles or beads on to the corners.
Print out the word "Guests" or paint it onto a piece of paper that's the same size as the glass of the frame, then insert behind the glass. As an alternative, you could put a photo in the frame. Cut the stand off the backing board.
Glue the frame to a spiral-bound notebook. Paint the inside of the notebook cover in black.
